A friend of Punting Stars has just launched a free application for punters that we are happy to endorse – Racepal!
Racepal allows users to create systems and criteria around horse racing and then receive daily alerts when qualified runners are racing.
A simple and convenient idea – particularly useful for those of you who are ready to take your form study a little more seriously but perhaps do not have the time to price up hundreds of races per week.
Racepal lets you input some of your punting philosophies, trends you are following and quickly identify the type of runners that you like to back each day or weekend.
By creating your systems, Racepal filters out the day of racing and delivers you your qualified runners – from here, you can price up that specific race to see if there is an overlay worth taking or take a deeper look into your qualified runners form and the action in the betting market around it.
Take a look below at a quick example of a Racepal filter
The filter above allows us to identify when boom sire and son of Invincible Spirit, I Am Invincible horses are racing first-up over the sprint distances.
Recreational punters who don’t have access to large databases and automated systems have lots of systems they like to follow and implement but often no vehicle to access them quickly – enter Racepal!
The Punting Stars team have recently purchased a few yearlings from some first year sires, we’ve gone and added systems to alert us when all of the new season 2YO’s from such sires race each time so we can monitor betting and the performances as they’ll have a big impact in determining the value of our purchases and also give a guide as to the type of performances we can expect from our own horses when they hit the race track.
Racepal also has a form guide and odds grid integrated into the site so you can quickly do some form and compare the market.
Head to racepal.com.au to check out the product in more detail, follow them on Facebook and be sure to follow their YouTube channel for all of the free video content and previews they will be producing throughout the spring.
Good punting,
PS Team
